May 3, 2007Due to a scheduling squeeze, thanks to the very successful Hartford Art School gala, the graduating illustraton students lost out on their gallery space for their senior show up in the art school. Since we had no shows in the gallery, we offered our space for an unprecedented departmental show in the Joseloff. It’s not generally the sort of show we would have in the Joseloff, a student departmental show, that is, so the illustration students are going all out and taking full advantage of the space.
REEL ILLUSTRATION: A Red Carpet Premiere
opens this Saturday, May 5th with a movie-themed reception in the gallery from 5:30-8:30pm.
Today the installation begins and the job of organizing twenty-seven (that’s right twenty-seven) graduating seniors and their respective work looks like quite a task. Good luck to all of them. Here’s a peek at how it looks so far.
