A Week of Enchantment

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our week of Enchantment such a success.  Wednesday’s lecture with Julie Heffernan was inspiring and engaging; Thursday’s lecture with Peter Trippi was eye-opening and thought-provoking; and Friday’s panel discussion moderated by Peter Trippi was entertaining and exciting with artists James Gurney, Alison Moritsugu, Graydon Parrish, Patricia Watwood, and the director of the Dahesh Museum of Art, Dr. David Farmer.  It was wonderful to see other participating artists including Gail Boyajian and Jennifer Knaus joining the crowds at the lectures and the extremely well-attended opening reception.  It was a wonderful week and we can’t thank everyone enough.

Enchantment, the sixth Distinguished Artists Symposium and Exhibition will be on display through January 17, 2010 at the Joseloff Gallery.  The gallery will be closed for the Thanksgiving weekend from November 26th through the 30th, and again for the winter break from December 21st  through January 4th.

One Response to A Week of Enchantment

  1. Thank you to the University of Hartford and the Joseloff. I was impressed by the passion, intelligence and commitment of the audience, the director and the Hartford art community. It was a watershed exhibition, in my opinion, and I look forward to more dynamic events from the gallery, staff and faculty.
