How delicious is this work?  This is a recent piece by New York artist Kathy Butterly.  She is one of the Koopman Chairs in the Visual Arts at the Hartford Art School this year.  She and Kansas City ceramic artist, Andy Brayman will be having a show in the Joseloff Gallery this November.  And what a gorgeous show it will be!

Work from Kathy’s recent show “Pantyhose and Morandi”  at the Tibor de Nagy Gallery can be seen here: http://www.tibordenagy.com/exhibitions/kathy-butterly/

Our exhibition, “Brayman & Butterly” will run from November 10 through December 19 2010 with an opening reception in the gallery on Tuesday November 9 from 5-7pm.  Kathy Butterly will hold a free public lecture in the Wilde Auditorium preceding the opening reception from 1:30-3pm.  She will also return to campus on Wednesday December 15 for a free evening gallery talk from 5-6:30pm.

Mark your calendars, this is a show you will not want to miss!
